REVOGUE'S Online Vintage Store Favourites Summer 2014
The sun is shining, summer has stricken with full force, and I have been looking through my favourite online vintage sites for cute summer outfit inspiration. Online vintage shopping can be a fantastic way to find those wonderful retro pieces when you’re not in the mood rummage in the shops. SO let me introduce you to my favourite online sites, and the pieces I found – each one under £50!
Peekaboo findsPeekaboo Vintage Clothing is pretty well renowned with retro clothing lovers, who have enjoyed shopping their pieces for two decades. The company started on Portabello Market and now is stocked in TOPSHOP and on ASOS. I love their own website; easy browsing, all items are styled on models and there’s a great selection of genuine vintage items. I found this Atzec Jacket, a wonderful colourful dress and these cute flower earrings. If they don’t get snapped up quickly I will be seriously surprised!!
beyond retro finds2
Beyond Retro has become legendary in the world of vintage shopping. This retro retailer started in the East of London and has grown rapidly from Brick Lane to Stockholm to the world wide web. Their stores are a treat to spend time in and their website reflects its eclectic mix. Do you like this fringed leather skirt, the cute denim shorts, the pretty maxi skirt and the sunglasses? All from the Beyond Retro website!

Rokit have been rocking the retro world for over three decades. Starting at Camden Market, focusing on American Cowboy denim they now have two stores, alot of fantastic vintage clobber and customise pieces wonderfully. Again, a fantastic wesbite and I discovered they do kiddies vintage – now I can get vintage pieces for my nieces and nephews! I love a high waisted trouser – what do you think of these yellow ones?
garite top
I have featured Garite before and I still can’t get enough of this wonderful company! There is  a certain amount of romanticism with the way they source their pieces from France! You can catch their collection in Camden at C/159 but if you want to shop vintage from your sofa their website is a great place to surf! I found the lovely flowerly crop top which I would love to put with the high waisted trousers!
Love Miss Daisy is a fabulous online vintage clothing store. Providing shoppers with a more classic vintage style, they have everything from bridalwear to shoes to homeware! I have just discovered the online treat and thought the hat was great! A real 1960’s find, I just wish that I had a wedding or was going to the races so that I could wear it!
For me, one of the most exciting parts of vintage shopping is finding really unusual pieces and I found that the It’s Vintage Darling website is certainly stocked with enough! With the intention of providing their customers with the hassle free experience that we all love from online shopping whilst not compromising on style and stock, their website is pleasure to shop. I found this brilliant white travel carry case; the perfect place to put all my vintage finds.
Please let me know what your favourite online vintage stores are!

Monday’s Celeb Must Haves – Coachella 2014

Beyonce // Cara Delevigne // Kylie Jenner

Beyonce // Cara Delevingne // Kylie Jenner

Here in the UK we have been delighted with the sun over the long Easter weekend. However, whilst looking through the numerous articles and online pictures of the celebs soaking up the Coachella rays, we should not blame ourselves for feeling a pang of jealously! We may not be able easily experience the LA desert heat, but we can certainly get ourselves ready for the festival season. Here is my round up of the best celeb must have’s from Coachella and some hints at where to steal their style!

Let’s start with Queen B herself who made a surprise appearance! Beyonce swung and sung her way through her sister Solange’s performance of “Losing You” and looked cool and colourful whilst doing so!

The print is wonderful on this skirt and top combo (its all about the combo’s at the moment!) and the unique cut on the top I love – a little bit different from the usual crop tops that we see in stores and online at the moment. A slick finish with the pointed ankle boots and the simple fedora make this outfit standout whislt also managing to steal a little class.

I’ve found this great flower combo from ASOS; the print has the purple element like Beyonce’s does and I think the cut out detail on the back of the top is a cute little touch. These boots from Kurt Geiger would not only look fantsatic with this outfit but would go with SO much other stuff – And to finish it off – a classic fedora from Topshop!

Moving on to our next lady; Miss Cara Delevingne. Cara is the epitome of carefree and casual dressing – really perfect when you are walking around a desert at a music festival!

I love these red shorts against the aztec style printed top and her black high tops are retro  and cool. Teamed with a black accessories – she’s a real cool Coachella babe.

Here are some fantastic online choices to capture Cara’s style; the shorts are a simple but classic style from TOPSHOP whilst the top is a more expensive piece from the Essential Antwerp Beach Collection, a brand that started in – you guessed it – Antwerp, Belgium. You can purchase from the Essentiel Antwerp online store in Euros or from ASOS for a pound purchase. I think these shorts with this tee are a really fantastic duo! For the most comfortable festival shoe, grab yourselves these Nike Dunk Sky Hi Trainers – wear them for a while before you go and your friends will be envious of your blisterless toes! The accessories make this outfit; the watch is special little item from Vivienne Westwood – definitely one for my wish list, the rucksack is from Corsia as is made from such a soft leather that it will get better with age, and the sunglasses are a steal at £12 from ASOS.

Lastly, I have chosen the youngest of the Kardashian Clan – Miss Kylie Jenner. Kylie’s Coachella style is a massive hop, skip and jump away from those of her oldest Kardashian sisters’; weathered demim, studded bumbag and a t-shirt bearing Mr Bowie screams festival cool – perfect for the desert party.

This David Bowie t-shirt is on my list for the festival season for sure and these distressed black denim shorts will be incredibly wearable and are in the ASOS sale. Dorothy Perkins’ version of the classic Chelsea Boot are fantastic and a great purchase for all year round. This Miss Selfridge Camel Fedora is so much like Kylie’s and this choker from Rock ‘N Rose is a wonderful way to feminise this androgynous outfit.  For me what makes this outfit, is the quirky bumbag or as they like to say in the US – the fannypack; get this one from the one and only Nasty Gal.

I hope that these outfits can give you some inspiration for the festival season here in the UK!  Would love to know what you are wearing!

Happy Festival Season!
